Privacy Policy
Effective January 1, 2026. Last updated January 1, 2026.
WorkTools Hub (the “Site”) is operated by Cowboy MSP, a California limited liability company (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Short version: We don’t require accounts. Tool inputs stay in your browser. We may use cookieless analytics by default. Google Analytics only loads if you opt in via the cookie banner.
1. Information we do not collect
We do not require you to create an account or provide your name, email, phone number, address, or any other personal identifier to use the Site or any of its tools.
2. Information stored in your browser
Many of our tools save the values you enter (salary inputs, resume drafts, equity grants, preferences) to your browser’s local storage so they persist between visits. This data never leaves your device. Clearing your browser storage erases it. You can export your data from tools that support it.
3. Information sent to third parties
AI tools. When you click “Generate” on an AI-powered tool (e.g., Raise Negotiator, Job Description Generator), the prompt you compose is sent through our Cloudflare Worker to Google Gemini. Google processes the request under their own privacy policy. We do not log or store the prompt on our side. Do not include confidential information, personal data of others, or anything you would not put in a public email.
Salary and labor data. Some tools query public data sources (Adzuna, BLS) through our Workers. These requests contain only the search terms you submit (e.g., job title and state) and your IP address.
4. Analytics and cookies
Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookieless). We may use Cloudflare’s analytics, which counts page views and aggregate metrics without setting cookies or identifying individual visitors. No consent is required to operate this.
Google Analytics (optional, opt-in). Google Analytics 4 sets first-party cookies (typically _ga, _ga_*) and collects more detailed usage data. This only loads if you click Accept on our cookie banner. If you click Reject or do nothing, Google Analytics does not load. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser’s local storage or revisiting the banner via the link in the footer.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies, social media trackers, or remarketing pixels.
5. Server logs
Our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) maintains standard server logs that may include IP addresses, browser type, and request timestamps. These logs are used for security, abuse prevention, and basic operations. We do not link them to any personal identity.
6. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact support@cowboymsp.com.
7. Your rights under California law (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act):
- Right to know what personal information we have collected, how we collected it, and to whom it has been disclosed.
- Right to delete personal information we have collected, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information.
- Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information.
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@cowboymsp.com with the subject line “CCPA Request”. Because we do not collect identifying information, we may need to verify your request through the email address you contact us from.
8. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for money. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. No action is required from you to opt out, because we have already chosen not to do these things.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Significant changes will be highlighted on the home page for a reasonable period.
