Sum total comp (base + bonus + equity/yr + benefits + PTO value) → adjust for cost of living of the offer's location → subtract estimated commute cost. Optionally after-tax view applies the state effective tax rate.

Why subtract commute?
Gas + vehicle wear + your time has real cost. 30 miles/day × 250 work days × $0.67/mi IRS rate = ~$5,025/yr. Time at $30/hr × 1 hr/day × 250 = $7,500/yr.
